@tehagoelfakiu Don’t count on it, his main objectives are the grand tours right now because that’s what generates the most money and success for his team, unfortunately he has become like Armstrong in that respect, but before he became a superstar sprinter he put in some fine performances in a wide range of disciplines, so there is no reason why he cannot take that determination to the monuments, look at his MRS victory, and a gutsy performance in todays commonwealth games RR with no team mates!

What an elegant victory for an elegant rider!!! (despite of unuseful and rude efforts of McEwen).

Best sprinter still riding: 3 Milan-San Remo, 3 World Championships, 1 Genk-Wevelgem, 1 Hamburgo, 1 Paris-Tours, he’s got all great sprinters Classics. Cavendish will never get this wide range of different victories.

Paris – Tours, the only classic never won by Eddy Merckx, was run earlier today in France. Mostly referred to as the “sprinter’s classic” but has been won with a solo breakaway or a small group sprint. Today, it’s a win for the old guys and Spain, all at once. First win for a Spaniard ever at Paris-Tours!! OSCAR!!! Nice one, yo!
